Devon

During the Early Medieval era, Devon was inhabited by Anglo-Saxons and Celtic Britons. With its rich culture and history, Devon has two National Parks, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, a UNESCO Geopark, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It touches two coastal lines, the Bristol and English Channels and a beautiful lush countryside.

Rye

This medieval walled city of Rye, England, is compact and fun to walk through. In sight of the English Channel, it has interesting shops, cobblestoned streets, buildings dating to the 15th century and Henry James' home, Lamb House. Rye is located 50 mi/80 km southeast of London.

Outside of town on the beach lies Henry VIII's Camber Castle (head there on foot for a good walk).

You might find Rye a bit touristy. If so, opt for Winchelsea, a planned 13th-century town nearby that is just as pretty.

London

Some of the most exclusive shops are found along Oxford, Bond and Regent Streets. An old favorite and one of the world's premier institutions is Harrods - offering everything from Chanel suits and sliced salmon to caviar and even pets.

Cornwall

Cornwall is in the far South West of England , with the Atlantic Ocean on one side and the English Channel on the other. Cornwall is one of Englands most popular tourist destinations and has a wealth of natural beauty, superb beaches wildlife culture, and history, as well as a strong seafaring tradition, unspoilt fishing villages , castles and beautiful countryside too.
